1. About Simply Jens Cleaning

Simply Jens Cleaning provides residential, commercial, deep cleaning, standard cleaning, housekeeping, move-in/move-out cleaning, and customized cleaning services throughout Ottawa, Gatineau, and surrounding areas.

2. Booking Services

Appointments may be booked online, by phone, text, email, or through our quote forms. Booking requests are subject to availability and are not confirmed until approved by Simply Jens Cleaning.

3. Quotes & Estimates

Quotes are based on the information provided by the client, including property size, service type, condition of the property, number of rooms, and special requests. Final pricing may change if the property condition differs from the original description.

4. Payments

Payment may be accepted by cash, e-transfer, credit card, or other approved payment methods. Payment is due upon completion of service unless another arrangement has been approved in advance.

5. Deposits

Some services may require a deposit to secure the appointment. Deposits may be non-refundable if cancellation or rescheduling occurs within the required notice period.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations, no-shows, or locked properties may be subject to fees.

7. Arrival Times

Arrival times may vary due to traffic, weather, parking, previous appointments, or other delays. We will do our best to communicate any significant delays as soon as possible.

8. Access to the Property

Clients are responsible for ensuring we have safe and timely access to the property. If we are unable to access the property at the scheduled time, cancellation or lockout fees may apply.

9. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for securing valuables, fragile items, personal documents, medication, cash, jewelry, and sentimental items before the appointment. Simply Jens Cleaning is not responsible for unsecured valuables.

10. Pets

We are pet-friendly; however, pets must be safely secured if they are anxious, aggressive, or may interfere with the cleaning. Clients are responsible for informing us of any pet-related concerns before the appointment.

11. Supplies & Equipment

We typically bring our own cleaning supplies and equipment. If a client requests specific products to be used, those products must be provided and clearly explained before service.

12. Heavy-Duty Deep Cleaning

Homes with excessive buildup, heavy grease, thick dust, pet hair, strong odours, or long periods without professional cleaning may require Heavy-Duty Deep Cleaning. Additional charges may apply depending on the condition and time required.

13. Add-On Services

Add-on services such as interior windows, carpet cleaning, wall washing, garage cleaning, balcony cleaning, or heavy buildup cleaning may require additional time and fees.

14. Safety & Hazardous Conditions

We reserve the right to refuse or stop service if the property is unsafe, hazardous, unsanitary, or outside the agreed scope of work. This may include pest infestations, biohazards, unsafe clutter, exposed waste, or unsafe working conditions.

15. Satisfaction Concerns

If you have a concern about your cleaning, please contact us within 24 hours of service. Photos may be requested to help us review the issue. We will work with you to find a fair resolution.

16. Photos

Photos may be requested for quotes, concerns, or quality review. We will not use client photos for marketing unless permission is given.

17. Limitation of Liability

Simply Jens Cleaning is not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, improperly installed items, unstable fixtures, or items that were already loose, broken, or damaged before service.
